Truck 4 responded to two dwelling fires today. One in District 3 of Monroeville and one in Wilmerding. Around Noon today, Monroeville Fire units were dispatched to District 3 for a reported basement fire. Engine 31 arrived and found a clothes dryer on fire and beginning to impinge on structural components of the basement. Engine 42 responded as the RIT and was returned shortly after arriving on scene. T-4 arrived and assisted with overhaul and ventilation. While this incident was ongoing, Engine 41 was sent with other Monroeville units to District 1 for an odor of natural gas inside a veterinary hospital. Then around 9:15 pm, T-4 was sent into Wilmerding for an apartment fire with possible entrapment. E-306 arrived and reported a small kitchen fire that was quickly extinguished. T-4 staged until being released by Command.
