At 5 minutes to 4:00am this morning, Rescue 4 was dispatched into Turtle Creek for a reported residential structure fire. While enroute, units were updated by Police on scene that there was fire visible through the roof. R-4 was initially tasked with Rapid Intervention so the Recue Company placed ground ladders a forced entry on the C side before staging on the A/D corner. Upon the arrival of a secondary RIT, R-4 crew was put to work doing roof work and additional interior work assisting with suppression. R-4 was on scene for approximately 4 hours.
