Just before 5 a.m. this morning, Rescue 4 was requested into the Borough of Edgewood for a residential fire. Due to staffing shortages, a second alarm was requested by Command and R-4 responded. The Rescue had just gotten back in-service from it’s refurbishment and this was the maiden voyage of this chapter of it’s life. R-4 returned in service with an hour once the fire was placed under control.
