On Saturday, at approximately 3:00 pm, Rescue 4 was dispatched into North Versailles for a reported apartment building on fire. Engine 211 arrived on scene with a working fire that started on the balcony and auto-exposed into the eaves and above the ceiling of several apartments. R-4 was initially tasked with RIT duties but then put to work to assist Truck 212 and Truck 5 on the roof with one crew and assisted the Engine Company with opening up and checking for extension in the effected apartment. R-4 was on scene for approximately 90 minutes.
