Today, we pause to remember the loss of our friend and coworker, Fred Manno who tragically lost his life in the line of duty four years ago today. While working his FT job at North Huntingdon EMS, Fred suffered a medical emergency on July 19th, 2022 from which he never recovered and peacefully passed away with family at his side on July, 30th. We really miss Fred and his cantankerous ways! Fred was unique and was very particular in his routine. Most would say he was grumpy but he would give you the shirt (filled with dog hair) off his back for you if you needed it. Fred wouldn’t approve of this attention, but he certainly deserves it.
