At approximately 2:00 am this morning, Monroeville Companies were alerted for the first due dwelling fire. C-44 (Balanti) arrived on scene and reported a working fire with heavy smoke emitting from the D side. Upon his 360, he reported heavy fire erupting from the basement level garage that was extending exteriorly on the C side. Engine 41 arrived and stretched to the C side and made their interior attack through the garage and up into the kitchen. Truck 5 completed primary searches which were negative as all occupants made it out safely. Crews remained on scene for approximately 2.5 hours to assist the Fire Marshall.
