Just after 7 am this morning tones were cracked for a first due residential house fire. Engine 42 responded and found a single family dwelling with smoke showing from what appeared to be a fire in the walls. Upon investigating it was determined that a wood burning stove had caused a fire in the walls that extended from the first division to the second division. The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported. While crews handled this house fire, additional crews responded to a report of smoke inside a commercial structure that turned out to be burnt food.
