This evening, just after 6:00 pm Monroeville Companies were dispatched to a reported building fire on Patton Street. Units arrived to find a cell tower shed on fire. What made the initial size up and attack a challenge was that the cell tower was also a high tension electrical tower and the shed fire was directly impinging a 250 pound propane tank. Crews were able to cool down the propane tank and make a determination that no high voltage electrical components were involved. Companies were on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
