At approximately 6:30 pm and after heavy rain passed through the area, Companies were alerted for a vehicle crash with entrapment on the PA Turnpike. Rescue 4, Engine 51 and Rescue 6 along with Medics 48 and 49 responded and found a single passenger vehicle on its side off the road and down a small embankment. Crews worked to extricate the occupant who was not seriously injured. Crews worked for approximately 25 minutes to remove the patient to the awaiting Medic unit.
