Just before 9:30pm, Monroeville Fire Companies were dispatched to an appliance on fire at Coast and Maine at the Monroeville Mall. Engine 42 was in the area and requested permission to respond. E-42 and Quint 1 arrived and found a small fire in the dishwashing machine that was filling the kitchen with smoke. Units extinguished the fire and checked for extension. Truck 4 arrived and assisted with ventilation.
