Trying not to sound like a “broken record” while announcing another broken record… 2025 was again the busiest year for ‘The Big House’. Our Members responded to 1,214 Fire/Rescue incidents and 4,737 EMS incidents for a total of 5,951 incidents. This is slightly over a 10% increase over last year’s record numbers and includes: 48 building fires, 34 vehicle/brush fires, 114 vehicle/physical rescues, and 121 hazardous conditions (electrical issues, natural gas inside, overheated motors). Every year our Members run themselves ragged handling the large call volume, however, we do it with pride knowing the vital importance of our role in the Community. Fire Co. No. 4 is ALWAYS looking for interested applicants that want to be part of something special. If you feel you are up for the challenge and would like to be part of a dedicated team of professionals, please stop by the station for a visit and see what we are all about.
