It is with the utmost sadness and disbelief that Fire Co. No. 4 announces the sudden and unexpected loss of Firefighter/Paramedic Michael Guido. He passed away peacefully yesterday, surrounded by family, after complications from a recent surgical procedure. “Guido” joined MVFC 4 in 2015 as a Live-In Member and was extremely dedicated to the Organization up until his passing. During his time in the Company, Mike fulfilled several roles such as Trustee, Apparatus Driver, Senior Man, and Lieutenant. “Guido” was also a career firefighter with Montgomery County Fire/Rescue Services and a current Live-In Member at Berwyn Heights VFD, in Maryland. Mike responded to thousands of incidents during his tenure as a public servant and helped countless individuals in their times of need. His passing leaves a large void in the hearts of those that had the pleasure of knowing him.
