Multiple Entrapments

Kevin Bacco    September 17, 2018    No Comments

Last night around 9:30 pm, Rescue 6, Medic 69 and Engine 51 were alerted to Old William Penn Hwy at Thompson Run Road for a single vehicle, rollover accident with 8 people entrapped. Chief 60 arrived on scene and found that the vehicle was overturned in the creek. This upgraded the assignment bringing Rescue 4 and Penn Hills 227. Multiple EMS units including Monroeville, Penn Hills and Plum were needed for transports. Crews worked very quickly with the assistance of Monroeville Police and Penn Hills Police. In total, 3 patients were physically trapped requiring extrication and the other 4 inside were easily accessible but still required being rescued.

Theresa Barraza Zachary Barraza Ken Miller this is where we ate when you guys were here last year.

One of my favorite places! I hope they are cleaned up and back in business soon.

Holy cow! Glad that no one got hurt, and hopefully they’ll be up and running again soon. Love that place. All of their food is excellent,

One of my favorite places

OMG - No, I haven’t listen to the news this morning… That’s a hard break for me I love to go there. That’s a big loss - it’s a busy place all the time! I live within 12-15 minutes... right off Rt 22 so it was one of my favorite places

Thank God that no one was hurt! 🙏🏻

I was just trying to look this up. Doesn’t look like too much damage to the main building

Thank you Monroeville Fire Dept.

Candi Savinda Marks you’ll have to skip your favorite place this week - sorry

Was that a food prep area?

Luke looks like you got the last pizza for a few days 😰

Hope no one was hurt

This place wastes no time: Gateway Grill posted today that they are back open 👍🏼

Nooooo!!! This is one of my favorite places to eat

Just had a great breakfast there on Friday 😢

Oh my, so sad

We come here from North Hills. 😫

Hope no one got hurt! Anyone hear how bad it was?

My favorite pizza! Hope the damage is minimal
