The day started off bright and early as Engine 41 was sent to investigate the odor of natural gas outside a residence. Throughout the day several routine EMS calls were handled. At 3 pm Truck 4 was summoned to Wilkins Twp. for a fire alarm activation. While the Truck handled this detail, Rescue 4 and Medic 48 were dispatched to a crash in the first due. A couple hours later Rescue 4 was alerted for the residential fire in Pitcairn. R-4 handled RIT duties for the working fire on the second division. While R-4 was in Pitcairn, Engine 41 was dispatched into Turtle Creek for a reported apartment fire. E-41 arrived on scene and was disregarded by Command as the incident was downgraded to an electrical issue. In total, Company 4 handled 15 calls in a 10 hour period.
